October is SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) Awareness Month
So what is SIDS exactly? Sudden infant death syndrome is the unexplained death, usually during sleep, of a seemingly healthy baby less than a year old. There are measures you can take to reduce the risk of SIDS.
Week #2 Tip: Use a firm and flat mattress in a safety-approved crib, free of soft and loose bedding, such as bumpers, stuffed animals and blankets.
